Eureka Flag Beach Towel
This beach towel features the cross of the Eureka Flag, a famous flag from Australian history. The flag's five stars represent the Southern Cross and the white cross joining the stars represents unity in defiance, this flag has been in use since 1854 and was flown at the 'Eureka Stockade', the historic gold miner's uprising in December of '54. The flag is now often used by Australian worker's unions to display their solidarity. There may be a bit of colour astray in these towels, as is the nature of knit manufacturing.
