This Aboriginal art t-shirt is called Serpent and features a vibrantly coloured dot art snake slithering across this shortsleeve colour blast t-shirt. The original art we are reproducing is by Bathurst artist Meleisa Cox, a self-taught Wiradjuri artist working in a contemporary style. This Serpent design is printed on a Comfort Colors "Color Blast" dyed t-shirt and the background effect on the shirt varies, so will not exactly match our display photo (similar to tie dye).
About This T-Shirt: This adult size t-shirt by Australian Native T-Shirts is made from 100% combed ring spun cotton and is available in this colour blast colour called "Clay", which is a dappled muddy red colour. We use imported garments however prints are under license and are reproductions of original works by contemporary Wiradjuri artist Meleisa Cox from Bathurst in NSW. Meleisa taught herself dot painting as a way of connecting with my indigenous heritage and to help fight mental illness.
